John Stones: Manchester City defender out for up to five weeks with muscular injury

Manchester City defender John Stones was ruled out using a injury, states Pep Guardiola.
The England centre-back suffered the problem in training ahead of the Champions League opener of City against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
Stones returned for Manchester City on Saturday after recovering from a muscular problem, together with the shock 3-2 defeat Norwich being his very first appearance in the Premier League because the opening day win at West Ham.
Guardiola said on Tuesday:”He [Stones] is outside five, four or six weeks. He was hurt in training that morning. It is a muscular issue.”
Stones’ lack will add together with French centre-back Aymeric Laporte already inclined to be ruled out before January.
Guardiola added:”For me as a supervisor it’s an incredible challenge. However, I think in something people do not know about – dedication and spirit. We’ll make steps ahead to fix this issue.”
